Mental Health Compass Workshop Offerings

Suicide Prevention

Are you a parent, neighbor, or volunteer and want to feel more prepared if someone in your life seems to be struggling? Are you unsure what to say or do in a crisis?

You don’t need to be a professional to help someone in crisis. Learn the basics, or get a refresher, with our suicide prevention 101 course. Suicide Prevention 101 is a 2 hour in-person or online training to offer you the foundation to how you can begin to understand how to help prevent a suicide.

Suicide Prevention

Are you someone who wants to be a safe person for others to turn when they are struggling, but don't know how to recognize warning signs or what to do? Whether you work in an office, school or construction site--if someone in your life is struggling, you can be the connection that helps keep them safe. Learn how in this empowering, practical workshop.

LivingWorks safeTALK is a half-day in-person workshop where you'll learn how to reach out to someone thinking about suicide and help them keep safe by promptly connecting them to further support. Your role as a connector is the main focus of this training and is appropriate for everyone over the age of 15.
